About the Diamond Cook

Hello! Welcome to The Diamond Cookbook Blog. The Diamond Mountain is an iconic geological feature that can be seen from my house. It is loved and explored by our entire family in different ways. It brings us comfort in nature in the same way that certain foods comfort us and make us feel at home.  A little bit about my family: I’m married to an amazing man who graciously eats whatever experiment I put in front of him (the defeats and the victories). He works hard, forgives quickly, and is an avid outdoor enthusiast. Together we have three children. Our daughter is 20 and our sons are 15 and 6 years old. They have distinct and positive relationships with food that show in each individual personality. We are an unschooling family and that has allowed these relationships and tastes to grow and change in ways that are comfortable to them.
